Not so long ago I almost convinced myself I was at peace. With life. With the world. Even with capitalism. I was ready to retire. No more protest songs for me, thank you. Along came Brexit and, hot on its heels, the election of one Donald Trump. The resurgence of nationalism and out of the pits its ugly child monster: fascism. All reason surrendered, the peace broken. I wrote songs, not of protest, but of anger. Here is a selection of this anger.
