One of those relatively difficult tracks where everything came easy: the words, the music, the arrangement, all fitting like a glove caressing the fingers that touch the strings. I wanted the vocal style in the vein of an angry Peter Hammill and with the second take I came close, close enough to warrant it as a Schönfeld classic in the making. It's another song in the aftermath of my mother's death, looking at the grieving ones left to linger in this life. It's a harsh song with a positive message. Let's remember the good times.
